What I Ate On Wednesday

Black sesame cereal from Taiwan. It was thick & gooey. Quite comforting on a cold & wet day.
Home packed lunch of tinned fried dave with salted black beans, tinned bamboo shoots with mushrooms & tang hoon from grandma.

Lovely, sinful, melt in your mouth, i died & went to heaven chocolate cakes from Nazza. Colleague Marilyn was so sweet to bless me & the kids with some.

I loved it so much. Can I place an order for them for Christmas??

Liked this so much, I got another tin of it with preserved vegetables. Next on my list is one with spicy dace.

This is highly addictive, crunchy & easy to pop into your mouth. New York Bagel Factory Bagel Chips in Cinnamon Raisin & Garlic flavours. Found them at home & helped myself to them randomly.

It's like a mini bagel that has been toasted in the oven till crispy like a biscuit!

What I Ate On Monday

Finally managed to lay my hands on this! Knorr Cup Porridge in Orange flavour. Supposedly has carrot, sweet potato & crab sticks in it. It was sold out at NTUC.
2 sachets combined consisted of seasoning, dried veggies & of coz, the porridge inself.

The taste & texture were quite nice. Wouldn't mind trying this again in other flavours.

$2 soon kuehs from Bedok hawker. Love the combination of dark stick black sauce & chilli sauce. Could eat this anytime!

Interesting Sunday!

Yeaaps! A snail stuck on my shoe! Apparently quite a few of us got a picture of it! What a star this snail is!

Fish Head Steamboat Session 2

Chockful of ingredients, we found some squid, chicken, yam pieces, mushrooms & prawns, all these for $8.

The main star dish again! Ta dah!!!

A Sweet Treat & A Savoury One

A kid's mom blessed us with some sweet dessert from Japan. She always does so whenever her hubby travels back to homeland.

Again, could not resist chicken pies on offer from Prima Deli. Buy 2 get 1 free thus only paid $3 for 3 pies!! Yay! Would have preferred those from Crystal Jade but this will also do lah!

from Prima Deli. Ordered one just before dinner. Asked for
chocolate & peanut butter
fillings. Abit ex at $1.80 though.

Then had dinner at New York New York Cafe at Kovan Heartland Mall. Love their Baby Mac & Cheese. Their ribs are good too. Find the other dishes overly priced & so-so only. The spicy buffalo wings were soaked in oil & not spicy at all. The ranch dip that came with it didn't seem fresh & was lumpy.

Yes yes, as you all can see, I love my tomato ketchup too!! :)

Soft & Tender!!

Right ankle still quite swollen. Went back to the doctor's for my 3rd day of MC. He confirmed there is no fracture, just a very bad sprain. Also no need to wear the hard ankle guard. Phew! As that would have cost a bomb.

Told to ice it a couple of times throughout the day. Just did. Ouch! Painful but think it's helping to bring down the swelling.

Going back to the chinese doctor tomorrow morning. Anticipating more pain! *shudder" :(

Things I Like

Ginvera Grape fragrance anti-bacterial hand liquid soap. Smells so fruity, I feel so happy using it! Kill those germs!

Had curry vegetables, chopped long beans, lean pork slices with sweet peanuts & carrots in black sauce & sambal ikan billis, only $2.80! Very homecooked food at this coffeeshop at AMK St. 31.
