Most amazing was that it was still all hustle & bustle at close to midnight!
Everything was fresh & cheap but alas, not allowed to bring across customs so could not buy any lor. You can get fresh huge plump whole chickens, large slabs of cod fish (meltz!) & all kinds of seafood & poultry! :)
You can buy lots of sundries by weight here. Look at the different types of ikan billis they have here.
The smell was quite overpowering yet in a slightly addictive & beckoning manner....
Instead, I bought various coloured sago pearls, brightly coloured orange lentils & red & green beans to do art & carft with the kids when school starts. Cheap & good! :)
