Hi Fiona
Firstly, i have to thank you for the effort of planning outdoor trips
for the children. Besides classroom activities, I feel that they need
some fresh air from outdoors..occasional outdoor activities make their
school life more colourful and less boring.
XY's biting is getting more controlled..at least today...am
learning. at least i have learnt to make myself the sole caregiver so
to have more control over him.. and be very persistent.i learnt a
great deal from the show 'miracle worker'.. this movie has given me
lots of encouragment. taught me to have lots of patience and being
persistent will help XY to remove all the undesired behaviours.
I actually had a copy a few years ago but it has so many marks on them
now that i cant view it anymore... do u have a softcopy so i can
borrowte to dup?
yesterday, the public bus came so late that i arrived home even later
than XY... ha ha ha. oh,, i didnt get to speak with the
psychologist... she was on med leave so she has rescheduled the
workshop to another day.
i have a few things which i would like to learnt more from you. prob
we can talk when we meet.... just a few points to ponder.
1) PECS. does XY use the pecs on the green book in class?
2) is Class 123 best suit XY? sorry for such a diff qtn....
3) XYl feels frustrated cos he fails to communicate....thats the
trigger point for tantrums. is PECS the best communication tool for
special needs children?
4) i need your help to guide me on what kind of activities i should
let XY do at home?
thanks Fiona! am grateful that XY is in your class. you have a big
heart to teach!
regds
XY's mother
