1st day of workshops & talks at Asian Festival of Children's Content at The Arts House. Workshop 1: Visual Language - Deciphering the Picture by John McKenzie
The Joy through Books: The National Centre for Children's Literature in France: History, Missions and Organisation by Nathalie Beau. There was nothing very joyful about this sharing session as we were bored to tears. *yawn* Couldn't wait for it to end!

The Centrality of Story in the Curriculum by John McKenzie. His sessions were quite engaging & thought-provoking.

Book Launch of "God is Hu?" by Susanna Goho-Quek at Earshot Cafe.

A lovely book about nature. Part of the proceeds go to the SAVH (S'pore Association for the Visually Handicapped)

Synopsis

MINDS Thrift Shop Galore

I visited a friend at MINDSville after work today & guess what?

The MINDS Thrift Shop was open as they were having a meeting. It usually open only on Mondays & Thursdays from 11am to 3pm. Go check it out ok? They also have handmade jewellery & stuff made by the residents from the training centres. It's located at Lorong Napiri, between Bright Vision Hospital and AWWA ACCESS building.

Little Voice VCD, new Frank Sinatra Xmas Carols CD, Take the Lead VCD, 20, 30, 40 double disc VCD. These discs all cost 2 for $1. Some of them were brand new & all of them were in good condition.

I jumbled 5-6 sets of wooden puzzles & YH is able to do so effortlessly. He enjoys it too...
YH's "western food" snack of buttered bread, bakes bean & fried fish.

All mixed up! Had to mix in 2 spoons full of rice as he loves his rice.

I take mine with lots of pepper, tomato sauce & extra pickles!
And it says....the two slices of melting cheese keep the quarter pound of 100% pure beef from getting lonely. Duhz! LOL! :)
